Here we go...

First I need to get that overall this is a great book, I actually enjoyed it and would and will be recommending to friends... HOWEVER I feel that I need to express my freaking frustrations.

Dylan Dylan Dylan I promise frustrated the absolute hell out of me. At around 65% of the book I was literally screaming at my tablet like an insane person because I just couldn't take it anymore. It's like someone yelling there is a FIRE don't go down that road because you are going to get burned..and the person goes "huh" and goes any freaking way. It's not that she was dumb no I think the right word would be naive and quite honestly I was rather surprised with Mark and how... hmmm how can I say this without spoiling anything... he handled everything in the end.. I at one point found myself hoping that he would just say "F*** it" and be done point because it was seriously team too much.

However everything floated nicely. Funny thing I found myself angry with Dylan... and then I thought well hell that isn't right because (NOPE that thought would be a spoiler) .. then I felt sorry for her and then pissed at Mark but understanding.. lets just say it was a range of emotions.

Sooo if you can just bare the frustration for a little this is a pretty good read!

Signing off.. It's all good!

The Seduction of Dylan Acosta A Novel The Acostas Book 1 edition by Nia Forrester Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

This book was like reading several episodes of the Housewives of NY or the like. I did love the sexy Alpha in Mark Acosta. Dylan Acosta was a complex young woman with a great friend Ava and a great sister in law she found in Miri Acosta. The journey that Dylan takes in this book is long and often gut wrenching. Her life had a lot of bumps early that carry over into her quick marriage to Mark. I love the glimpses into his intense love for Dylan. I hurt for all the drama Dylan seemed to get into.

It was great to see a close family that thrived in their closeness. However, the baseball wives seem to have as much drama as what seems to drive the success of those "housewives" series. Lying, backbiting, shopaholics and drama start on night one when Dylan is brought into their inner circle.
I had a dislike for all of them from the start. Dylan finally after much drama, learned valuable life changing lessons.

Great read, and now I am off to Miri's story...Thanks Ms Forrester for characters that make a page turning read..
This one caught me by surprise. I saw seduction in the title. I immediately file it under a romantic seduction, but oh was I wrong. I don't like being wrong, but this time I was delighted because there's something fantastic about finding out that there's more to a book than you originally thought!

Dylan and Mark's romance was nice. I appreciate how forward he was. He left no room for doubt, though Dylan was insecure enough to doubt anyway. Their story was engaging, and I enjoyed seeing them grow. But more than anything, I fell in love with how unexpectedly insightful this book was. The other seduction, the main one was a character in itself. To wonder how Dylan was going to handle each situation that The Seduction put her in was nerve-racking. She stressed me out so many times, and I loved it. There was quite a bit of growth for the main character, and watching her develop was engaging.

I loved being able to take away something meaningful from this book. It was a great story about faithfulness, perception, and self-awareness that really spoke to me since I'm in a period of transition. Great book that was right on time for me.
This was the first Nia Forrester novel I read, and, soon after reading it, I knew that I would purchase nearly any title released by this author. What surprised me most about this book was how hard I rooted for Dylan and Mark even though I was not a huge fan of Dylan as an individual character. I thought that she continually made ill-advised decisions, and I questioned whether or not she was truly committed to making her marriage with Mark work. In spite of this, I loved what Dylan and Mark had with each other. I loved their chemistry, their vibe, and their struggles. So many romance novels are about the chase, the build-up that leads to the proposal. This novel was different because it centered on the aftermath of chase, the difficulties of marriage. There was nothing easy about Dylan and Marks relationship. This was a story of compromise, adjustments, and the potential dangers couples may encounter if either partner is unwilling to make those compromises and adjustments. I'd absolutely recommend it.
